Aerotek: General Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker for the 1st shift, Monday through Thursday from 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM. This position offers competitive hourly pay and requires a commitment to maintaining high quality standards and meeting production goals.

Responsibilities

+ Load and unload parts or products onto pallets.

+ Prepare parts and products for cutting to appropriate measurements.

+ Prepare parts and products to be shipped for powder coating.

+ Ensure quality standards and processes are used throughout the facility.

+ Ensure production deadlines and goals are met.

+ Report issues or problems with production to immediate supervisor.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in production and machine operation.

+ Experience in general labor and machine operating.

+ Ability to use tape measures and CNC machines.

+ Strong troubleshooting skills.

+ Knowledge in manufacturing and production processes.

+ Understanding of mechanical and general production work.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous manufacturing experience.

+ Experience with machine operations.

Work Environment

Work in a plastic manufacturing setting that is not temperature controlled. The company operates in two buildings within five miles of each other, each supporting different business units.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
