Job Title: Distribution Center Team Member IV
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Distribution Center Team Member IV, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations within the warehouse. This position requires proficiency in various skills, including receiving, sorting, staging, replenishment, putaway, picking, packing, cycle counting, and shipping. You will perform tasks using both SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) with an emphasis on productivity and quality. This role demands flexibility, the ability to learn quickly, and proficiency in handling material equipment.
Responsibilities
+ Determine daily work schedule through work board instructions and supervisor guidance.
+ Perform equipment inspections and complete documentation before operating.
+ Unload shipments from trucks using forklift or pallet jack, and sort based on labels and packing lists.
+ Conduct 3-way match to validate product part numbers and quantities with purchase order and packing list.
+ Utilize SAP and WMS to input accurate data, impacting inventory accuracy and customer orders.
+ Transport pallets using forklift or reach truck to designated storage locations.
+ Identify, research, and resolve discrepancies using Warehouse Management System and other resources.
+ Replenish products by scanning and transporting pallets to designated locations using RF gun.
+ Pick inventory using RF gun, verify quantities, and transport to packing lanes for shipping.
+ Consolidate pallets for multiple orders to reduce shipping costs and improve quality.
+ Participate in daily cycle counting with a focus on accuracy and quality.
+ Ensure facility and equipment checklists are maintained and perform cleanliness tasks.
+ Work proactively to prevent errors and maintain communication with supervisors.
+ Maintain accurate inventory levels and resolve discrepancies promptly.
+ Contribute to process changes in response to errors and assist other team members as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Accurate counting and math skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, SAP, and Warehouse Management Systems.
+ Proper lifting techniques and ability to operate material handling equipment.
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills.
+ Attention to detail and ability to adhere to quality standards.
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ 3+ years of warehouse experience.
+ Certification in material handling equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Warehouse preferred.
+ Punctuality and reliability are crucial.
+ Manual labor experience.
+ Ability to interpret directions and follow through effectively.
+ Experience with 5S and Lean manufacturing preferred.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Mcpherson, Kansas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
