    Job Title: General Labor Production

    Job Description

    Join our team as a pallet assembler and operator, where you will play an integral role in the pallet-making process from start to finish. Your duties will include building pallets using various components, repairing pallets, and creating pallet components. This role exposes you to vibrations and occasional work near moving mechanical parts. The environment is relatively loud, but ear protection is provided. You will use hammers, nail guns, and other basic hand tools, which are also provided.

    Responsibilities

    + Build pallets using various components.

    + Repair damaged pallets.

    + Create pallet components as needed.

    + Operate basic hand and power tools.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

    + General assembly and repair skills.

    + Ability to lift between 40-50 lbs.

    + Capability to be on feet for up to 10 hours.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to read a tape measure or ruler.

    + Experience in a loud working environment.

    + Forklift experience.

    + Stable job history (no more than two jobs in the last year).

    + No terminations for safety reasons.

    Work Environment

     

    You will work in one of two organized buildings that are well-maintained. While mostly temperature-controlled, the work environment can be a bit cold, with employees wearing anything from Carhart jackets to cut-off t-shirts. The facility is loud due to machines and nail guns, and those with dust allergies may face challenges due to the wood processing involved in pallet creation.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of APPLETON, Wisconsin.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
