    Job Title: Welder

    Job Description

    We are seeking skilled welders to join our team, focusing primarily on MIG welding for agricultural and transportation products. While the majority of the work involves MIG welding, candidates will also have the opportunity to train in TIG welding. Working from blueprints, you will lay out products using jigs, fixtures, and clamps, and set up and adjust the welding machine based on the metals and thicknesses involved. Most welds are performed on 1/2" steel or smaller gauges.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform MIG welding on agricultural and transportation products.

    + Opportunity to train in TIG welding as needed.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and welding drawings.

    + Layout projects using jigs, fixtures, and clamps.

    + Set up and adjust welding machines according to metals and thicknesses.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 1 year of experience in MIG welding.

    + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and welding drawings.

    + Ability to set up and adjust welding machines.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in TIG welding is a plus but not required.

    Work Environment

     

    The shop has recently expanded and employs around 40 people across both shifts. Work hours are from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm for day shifts and from 4:30 pm to 3:00 am for night shifts, Monday through Thursday, with overtime on Fridays. Positions are open for either shift, with initial training conducted during the day for 3-6 weeks before transitioning to the chosen shift. A $2/hr pay differential is offered for night shifts.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WEST FARGO, North Dakota.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
