    Job Title: Field Service Technician

     

    Join a dynamic team as a Field Service Technician, specializing in the maintenance and service of advanced compressors, vacuums, generators, pumps, specialty tools, and equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of these products at various client sites, including hospitals, foundries, manufacturers, and distribution centers across eastern Missouri and western Illinois.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform electrical maintenance tasks ranging from 220V to over 4,000V.

    + Troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems.

    + Conduct mechanical maintenance and repair.

    + Execute changeover and installation of new parts, systems, or units.

    + Document work and order supplies using CMMS and VMS systems.

    + Coordinate service tasks through system management.

    + Assist the sales team by providing technical expertise and upselling to current clients.

    + Deliver outstanding customer service.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting abilities.

    + Experience in repair, schematic interpretation, and preventive maintenance.

    + Proficiency in using hand tools and electronics.

    + Ability to read and understand blueprints and wiring diagrams.

    + High-level traveling maintenance technician experience.

    + Knowledge of diesel engines and rental equipment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Compressor maintenance experience preferred.

    + Electrical experience required, ideally with high voltage systems (up to 4,000V).

    + Minimum 2 years of diesel systems experience.

    + Familiarity with gearboxes, motors, bearings, fans.

    + Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.

    + Proficiency in documenting work using computer software.

    + Ability to work independently.

     

    Work Environment

     

    Travel to client sites within a 1.5-2 hour range, covering various industries such as healthcare and manufacturing. Expect to work in diverse environments, including non-climate controlled locations like foundries. Work a first shift schedule from Monday through Friday, with opportunities for overtime and on-call emergency services one weekend a month. All travel expenses are covered, and a company vehicle is provided. Candidates must supply their own basic tools, including metric and imperial sets, hammers, wrenches, and a multimeter.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $79040.00/yr.

     

    Internal mobility and promotions. Field service technicians are typically given the opportunity for promotion. If they'd like to move to a different location, the company will allow it.

     

    Benefits start after 4 weeks work.

     

    401K with 6% matching, enroll after 30 days.

     

    Continuing education.
