    The Office of Juvenile Justice (OJJ) serves youth who have been adjudicated delinquent or Families in Need of Services (FINS). We are responsible for youth assigned to our care by the court system, either for supervision or custody in residential placement or secure care. OJJ also provides services to youth under local court supervision.

    Minimum Qualifications: A valid Louisiana Driver's License

     

    Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma

    Close from a Juvenile Justice Specialist 4 or higher level position.

    Bridge City Center for Youth.

     

    Job Duties and Other Information

    Job Duties:

    Assisting with recreational activities with adjudicated youth.

    Position-Specific Details:

    This is a part-time position with a salary of $18.00 per hour.

     

    The new incumbent will serve as a WAE Security Guard / Work Detail at the Bridge City Center for Youth. This role is part-time, requiring the individual to work three days a week, with each shift lasting eight hours.

     

    In the supplemental questions section, applicants must authorize the HR Office of Juvenile Justice to contact prior employers to check references under the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA)to be considered for employment.

     

    No Civil Service test score is required in order to be considered for this vacancy.
