Maintenance Technician

**Pay Rate** :

$29.23 – $34.43/hour pending skill level

**Category/Shift** :

Hourly Full-Time (6pm-6am, Nights)

Training will be on Day shift (6am-6pm)

The Job You Will Perform:

+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment including but not limited to programmable controls, numeral controls, power supplies, drives, gauges, and test equipment.

+ Preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, minimize equipment down time and perform small project activities.

+ Read blueprints, schematics, and drawings.

+ Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment; responsible for proper waste disposal.

+ Receptive to training and performing other duties as required.

+ **Preferred electrical experience for the following tasks** :

+ Install wire and conduit for newly installed and existing equipement such as conveyors, programmable controllers, and corrugating machinery.

+ Replace faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, and motors, and position sensing devices.

+ Diagnose and repair/replace faulty electronic componets

+ Troubleshoot drives, i.e. AC and DC

+ Read electrical block diagrams, schematics as well as PLC ladder logic

The Skills You Will Bring:

+ Industrial maintenance experience

+ Electrical Aptitude, strongly preferred.

+ Well-rounded in electrical and mechanical knowledge

+ Machine shop skills

+ Desire to produce quality work as part of a team

+ Ability to read, write, and speak English

+ Must be able to pass an advanced industrial skills and instrumentation/electrican knowledge test prior to interview process
