Salary: $1687 / Week

The Educational Diagnostician assesses and diagnoses thelearning problems of students. The Educational Diagnosticians works within thescope of a multidisciplinary team of professionals to make decisions regardingthe placement and support of students with learning disabilities.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Master’s Degree preferred

+ Teaching experience preferred

+ Certification as required by State and/or contractRegulations

+ Current CPR if applicable

+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

+ Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

Day to Day Duties:

Therapy type services.

in charge of administering assessments as part of a student's educational evaluation process; along with writing the Evaluation Report and conducting the Eligibility Determination meeting. Some Districts call this position a Psychological Examiner as others call it an Educational Diagnostician. The person must hold a Psychological Examiner certification (in order to be able to conduct IQ assessments); in addition to having experience in Special Education and compliance standards
