ManTech seeks a motivated, mission-focused **Software Test Engineer** to join our team in **Hanover, MD** . As part of a dynamic team, you will support software development initiatives for a mission-critical organization within the Intelligence Community, focused on secure and reliable data dissemination.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Analyze source code using automated Software Assurance (SwA) tools and collaborate with team members on assessment results.
+ Develop and execute test methodologies, scoring criteria, and test cases to support SwA tool analysis.
+ Perform software testing and interface with clients to recommend effective remediation strategies.
+ Create technical documentation and comprehensive test reports.
+ Utilize, fine-tune, and evaluate the suitability of SwA tools for specific customer environments.
+ Interpret SwA tool results to detect vulnerabilities and drive secure coding practices.
+ Research and assess emerging SwA tools and methodologies to enhance software security analysis.
Minimum Qualifications
+ 12 years of experience in systems security engineering, software programming, or computer science; OR 8 years of experience with a Master’s Degree.
+ Hands-on programming experience in Java, C/C++, or C#.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with some or all of the following programming languages:
+ ADA
+ ASM
+ Y86_64
+ Power PC
+ MIPS
+ RUST
+ Experience with some or all of the following technologies:
+ Klockwork
+ CodePeer
+ Fortran-Lint
+ CodeSonar
+ Security Fortify
+ IDA Pro
+ MATLAS
Security Clearance Requirements
+ Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Physical Requirements
+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
+ Constant operation of a computer and other standard office equipment such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer.
+ Frequent communication with co-workers, management, and customers; may involve delivering presentations.
