Required Education/Experience

+ Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Construction, Business or related field and a minimum of (2) years of relevant work experience or

+ Associate's Degree in Information Technology or Engineering or Construction or Business or related field and a minimum of (4) years of relevant work experience or

+ High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of (6) years of relevant work experience

Preferred Education/Experience

+ Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Math, Business, or applicable degree and Experience with Telecommunication systems and LAN room equipment.

Relevant Work Experience

+ Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines simultaneously, required.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, required.

+ Excellent oral and written skills, required.

+ Previous LAN Administration, LAN Infrastructure, Cisco CUCM Infrastructure and Unity Platform, preferred.

+ Contract administration and contractor oversight, preferred.

+ A good understanding of industry standard policy, processes and procedures covering incident, problem and change management is preferred.

+ Knowledge of monitoring and security tools is preferred.

+ A good understanding of industry standard policy, processes and procedures covering incident, problem and change management is preferred.

+ Technical certifications (e.g. FCC, CCNA, RCDD, etc.), preferred.

+ Experience with Telecommunication systems and LAN room equipment, preferred.

+ Ability to interpret basic information on drawings.

Physical Demands

+ Ability to respond to system emergencies

+ Ability to climb ladders and stairs

+ Stand, walk, and climb ladders and stairs for the duration of the workday

+ Stand, walk, lift, climb, bend, kneel, stoop, and/or reach for the duration of the workday

+ Ability to travel to company locations to work on storm restoration and heat contingencies

+ Use hand-eye coordination to adjust controls on equipment

+ Wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), i.e. fire-retardant clothing and safety harnesses

+ Use personal vehicle(s), and be able to transport, store, and secure company laptops and other job-related equipment in vehicle. Acknowledge that reimbursement for use of personal vehicle is available through the company mileage procedure

Additional Physical Demands

+ The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

+ Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.

+ Must be able to participate in the Companys emergency management processes and storm plans as required.
