    Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking an **Associate Director, CPP Business Operations** to join our team in one of these locations: Beerse, Belgium, Spring House, PA, Raritan, NJ, or Titusville, NJ.

     

    The role is in a hybrid model (3 days in the office, 2 days HO).

     

    In this role you will be responsible for supporting the development and optimization of business operations processes in collaboration with a range of stakeholders from Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics (CPP) and Global Development (GD) and J&J (e.g. Finance, Capacity Management and Procurement). The position will provide timely support, insights, and analysis in a range of disciplines including, but not limited to, Resourcing, Financial, Metrics, Communications, Compliance and Initiatives in order to increase rigor, strategic planning and decision making within CPP.

    Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities

    + **Financial & Resource Management** : Supports decision making and strategy alignment to R&D priorities through Business Review meetings. Assists with the development of CPP annual budget, update latest outlook, and track spending against forecast. Helps coordinate with Finance and Capacity Management to identify, analyze trends, and ensure accuracy of financial and resource data across multiple systems.

    + **Business Performance and Productivity** : Leads the development and sustainability of operational metrics, reports, and dashboards aligned with functional needs to monitor the operational performance of CPP. Demonstrates adaptability to change and serves as a role model to drive departmental alignment with strategic changes.

    + **Quality and Compliance** : Ensures time reporting, training compliance and inspection readiness metrics goals of CPP staff are maintained via monitoring, communications and reporting out on CAPAs and inspection readiness gaps.

    + **Process Improvement & Program Management** : Coordinates the identification, prioritization, tracking, and reporting out of end-to-end internal or cross-functional improvement initiatives within CPP and partnering with other functions. Takes responsibility for the quality and timeliness of project/initiative deliverables, as assessed by stakeholders such as the CPP Leadership team and cross-functional leaders and peers.

    + **Communications:** Contribute to design, content development and communications in line with the CPP Communication Strategy. Support the development and maintenance of CPP portals and SharePoint sites.

    + Follow organization and company standard operating procedures in timely fashion, such as training and project time accounting.

    + Represent CPP on cross-functional and inter-departmental teams or working groups.

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience

    + B.S., M.S., PharmD or equivalent with 7 years of experience in a scientific field or in general management, an advanced degree is preferred.

    + Sound financial acumen, strong program/project management skills are required.

    + Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to individuals and groups at various levels in the organization is required.

    + Hands-on experience managing communication and collaboration platforms.

    + Excellent communication and influencing skills and ability to establish strong and enduring relationships in a global matrix environment as well as the innate flexibility to work in a rapidly growing and changing organization is required.

    + The ability to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, make decisions, and achieve results in a fast-paced environment is required.

    + Must be able to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and operate with poise and professionalism in a complex, high-profile, and rapidly changing environment.

    + Proficiency of office suite, database, process mapping, and project management software.

    + Practical knowledge of drug development process and proven performance in operations management, process improvement, and business analysis are required.

    + Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in interdisciplinary contexts and across teams. Effective partnership with stakeholders at all levels to drive results in a global matrix environment is required.

    + Ability to exercise good judgment, maintain confidentiality and discretion when coming across sensitive information is required. Must be flexible in working hours occasionally to effectively support global teams.

    + Experience in managing and integrating complex, cross-functional information with competency in relevant software systems highly preferred

    + Have a highly analytical mind, comfortable working with, joining and analyzing data.

    + Up to 10% international travel may be required.

    + Performs other duties assigned as needed.

     

    The anticipated base pay range for this position is $153,000 to $207,000.

     

    The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

     

    Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.

     

    Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

    US Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

    + Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year

    + Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year

    + Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year

    + Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
