**Job Summary:** The Compensation Analyst supports the administration of compensation programs by assisting with job analysis, market research, salary benchmarking, and data reporting. This role ensures accurate compensation records and helps maintain competitive and equitable pay practices across the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.
Regular/Full Time
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
After the training period, you will be allowed to work a hybrid work schedule working one day a week remote, and four days a week in office.
Primary Tasks:
1. Assist with reviewing internal job descriptions and matching roles to market data for salary benchmarking and job classification.
2. Maintain compensation-related systems, documentation, and job evaluation tools to ensure accurate records.
3. Analyze standard compensation reports for auditing purposes; identify discrepancies or data issues and recommend or implement basic corrections with guidance from senior staff.
4. Conduct compensation research using labor market and salary data to support pay decisions and job evaluations.
5. Assist with compensation survey participation by gathering and validating internal data for submission.
6. Provide support to HR partners and departments regarding compensation tools, guidelines, and policy interpretation.
7. Maintain compensation records and documentation in accordance with internal policies.
8. Respond to routine compensation-related questions from HR or department staff under supervision.
9. Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, human resources, or a related field **_or;_**
* An equivalent combination of education and experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office productivity tools
* Basic understanding of compensation concepts such as salary surveys, job evaluation, or pay structures
* Interest in pursuing compensation-related certifications
* Two (2) years of experience in compensation, HR, or data analysis
