    What You’ll Be Doing:

+ Manage supply availability across assigned commodities by working directly with external Contract Manufacturers (CMs) and internal teams to ensure clear-to-build (CTB) for all NPI builds.

+ Apply AI-enabled platforms and data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar) to model demand scenarios, visualize risks, and recommend proactive materials strategies.

+ Monitor engineering changes (ECOs) and BOM updates for seamless integration via CM MRP systems.

+ Materials Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and resolve component shortages; collaborate with Engineering on alternate sourcing and deviation approvals. Implement predictive analytics to flag risks early and propose data-driven mitigations.

+ Lead supplier/CM meetings using structured important metrics, data dashboards, and exception-based alerts. Responsible for addressing supply issues; apply root-cause analysis by demonstrating digital tools.

+ Partner with Materials Planning and Engineering teams to deliver timely insights into supply constraints, readiness levels, and recovery plans via coordinated reporting tools.

+ Coordinate buy/sell activities across multiple CMs and internal teams while ensuring data integrity and transaction visibility via ERP systems.

+ Drive quarterly Excess & Obsolescence (E&O) reviews using advanced analytics to assess and disposition E&O risks. Leverage AI models to forecast obsolescence and recommend preventive actions.

+ Ensure CM material management systems adhere to compliance standards. Lead process audits and drive SCARs (Supplier Corrective Action Requests) using digital traceability tools.

+ Champion initiatives to improve scalability, automate manual processes, and boost efficiency through AI agents, RPA, or intelligent planning platforms.

    What We Need to See:

+ Strong analytical and strategic skills – ability to turn complex supply issues into actionable insights.

+ Advanced skills in Excel, Tableau, SQL, or other visualization tools. Exposure to AI/ML models or decision intelligence platforms (e.g., o9, Kinaxis, Anaplan, Rapid Response) is a plus.

+ Deep understanding of BOM structures, inventory planning, and ECO processes in a PCBA environment.

+ Working experience with SAP ERP, PDP/Agile PLM, and CM execution systems.

+ Clear and concise communicator capable of influencing Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance teams.

+ Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.

+ 5+ years of experience in materials planning, supply chain manufacturing, or NPI production in high-tech or semiconductor industries.

    + APICS certification preferred.

+ Experience in OEM/CEM environments, especially with turnkey materials execution and digital SCM initiatives.
