Primary Duties & Responsibilities
+ Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to develop precise CNC programs incorporating appropriate methodologies, tooling, cutting speeds, and feeds to produce high-quality components aligned with production standards.
+ Create and maintain detailed setup sheets based on tooling selection and machining criteria.
+ Monitor, verify, and ensure the accuracy of initial setups and machined outcomes, making adjustments as necessary.
+ Revise and optimize existing CNC programs, accurately document engineering and process changes.
+ Organize and manage the CNC program library using Autodesk Vault to maintain version control and accessibility.
+ Analyze and interpret engineering documentation, specifications, and sample parts to determine correct dimensions, tolerances, and machining sequences that enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
Education & Experience Qualifications
+ Minimum of 5 years' experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
+ At least 3 years of experience in CNC programming (preferred).
+ Advanced proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, internal/external micrometers, depth gauges, and dial indicators.
+ Expert ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications, with a thorough understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
+ In-depth knowledge of CNC programming operations, including the use of Canned Cycles.
+ Familiarity with tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, and inserts across a variety of machine platforms and material types.
+ Proficient in the use of FeatureCAM, SolidWorks, GibbsCAM, and general office software (Microsoft Excel and Word).

+ Ability to comprehend and execute both written and verbal instructions effectively.
+ Strong communication skills in English (written and oral), necessary for documentation and team collaboration.
+ Proficient in applied mathematics including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, geometry, and algebra, with a focus on material fabrication and dimensioning.

Technical Competencies
+ Hands-on experience with software tools including SolidWorks, MAZACAM, and FeatureCAM.
+ Comprehensive understanding of machining processes and manufacturing best practices.
+ Expertise in selecting and applying cutting tools specific to material type, including speed, feed rates, and depth of cut (DOC).
+ Familiarity with a range of CNC machine controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Cellos, and Mazatrol.
+ Capability to design and implement fixtures tailored to unique part geometries and production needs.
+ Strong technical communication skills, with the ability to clearly document procedures and process improvements.
