The HVAC Service / Preventive Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of **Commercial HVAC systems** .
Key Responsibilities:
+ **Candidate will service clients in the DFW markets**
+ **Preventive Maintenance** : Maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration units.
+ **Troubleshooting and Repair** : Diagnose and resolve issues with HVAC systems efficiently.
+ **Customer Service** : Maintain strong relationships with clients by addressing their concerns and providing excellent service.
+ **Compliance** : Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
+ **Documentation** : Maintain accurate records of service activities.
Qualifications:
+ **Experience** : **Minimum of 2-5 years of commercial experience in HVAC preventive maintenance and light service.**
+ **Education** : High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in HVAC systems preferred.
+ **Certifications** : Relevant HVAC certifications, TDLR (e.g., EPA certification) are highly desirable.
+ **Skills** : Basic troubleshooting, and leadership skills. Proficiency in reading schematics and using HVAC software.
+ **Physical Requirements** : Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Technical Skills:
1. **System Preventive Maintenance and Repair** : Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems.
2. **Troubleshooting** : Ability to diagnose and fix issues efficiently.
3. **Electrical Knowledge** : Understanding of electrical systems and components.
4. **Schematic Reading** : Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams
5. **Knowledge of Codes and Regulations** : Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations
6. **HVAC Software** : Competence in using HVAC-specific software and tools
Soft Skills:
1. **Effective Communication** : Clear communication with clients and team members
2. **Customer Service** : Providing excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction
3. **Problem-Solving** : Strong analytical skills to address and resolve issues.
4. **Attention to Detail** : Ensuring precision in all tasks to avoid errors.
5. **Teamwork** : Ability to work well with others and lead a team when necessary.

Additional Requirements:
+ **Driver’s License** : Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
