As a Senior Sourcing Commodity Manager, you will lead negotiations with trusted suppliers, securing the best contractual terms while meeting the needs of internal teams. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to addressing challenges and implementing solutions that enhance processes, products, and services. Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

+ Define supplier strategies, including the management and optimization of supplier panels for the Unison C Parts Commodity.

+ Lead negotiations and allocate procurement needs to specific suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.

+ Transmit negotiated terms and conditions to Procurement and ensure seamless communication across teams.

+ Manage supplier claims and resolve issues to maintain strong supplier relationships.

+ Perform commercial sourcing activities such as data analysis, negotiation support, and purchasing tasks as needed.

+ Oversee a small to medium-sized team of professionals, leveraging specialized expertise to drive results.

+ Influence the development of strategy within the sourcing function, including resource allocation and policy formulation.

+ Lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and complexity.

+ Communicate complex concepts effectively and influence stakeholders to consider alternative perspectives.

+ Advise management on functional and business decisions, providing evaluative judgment to achieve objectives.

+ Assess the quality of information provided and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders to ensure informed decision-making.

+ Offer innovative solutions to complex problems and construct actionable recommendations.

+ Utilize internal and external resources to support decision-making and drive functional success.

Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 9 years of experience in Sourcing and/or Supply Chain).

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sourcing and/or Supply Chain.
