Summary:

Assemble fabricated items as specified by work orders, diagrams, or layout by performing the following duties.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

+ Must be adaptive to a light manufacturing environment and integrate as an active team member with a positive can-do attitude

+ Must have good oral and written communication skills and be able to read and write in English

+ Perform all duties professionally and productively, emphasizing our Quality and Safely policies

+ Accurately record as-built information, traceability requirements, and other statistics

+ Provides feedback to the Production Manager regarding problems and issues

+ Good time management, self-motivated, and capable of multitasking

+ Basic math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

+ Ability to work well in teams

+ Sitting and standing for long periods is required

+ Ability to lift 60+ pounds

+ Ability to use hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, rulers, and meters

+ Assemble and test component assemblies and final products

+ Pickup components from inventory; assist in crate and box shipments for delivery

+ Clean and maintain production areas, including mopping, sweeping and general maintenance task throughout facility as needed

+ Follow documented ISO procedures and assembly instructions

+ Participates in execution of the cycle count program

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 60+ pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles; and hazardous materials (cleaning solutions and coatings).
