General Duties:

+ Ensuring consistent basic quality standards and procedures.

+ Strive to meet KAAP performance goals & requirements for work area.

+ Ensures equipment utilization is at a maximum operational availability.

+ Works directly with maintenance to ensure equipment up time.

+ Promotes, maintains, and enforces safe and healthy working conditions for themselves and other KAAP employees in accordance with regulatory requirements and Company standards.

+ Assist in the preparation of daily production reports and maintain appropriate records.

+ Ensure all SOP are followed and not deviated from.

+ Other duties as assigned by leadership team

Skills:

+ Understanding and utilization of 5S concept.

+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

+ Ability to work independently or in a team environment

+ Ability to solve practical problems and troubleshoot equipment issues.

Requirements:

+ High school degree or GED equivalency.

+ Must be willing to work a (4 Star) 12-hour shifts (willing to work every other weekend and some holidays). Shifts are either 5:00 AM to 5:10 PM or 5:00 PM to 5:10 PM.

+ Able to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks for extended periods, to include but not limited to: lifting, walking, standing, stooping, pulling, and pushing.

+ Willing to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations; including wearing personal protective equipment.

+ Willing to work in the elements.

+ Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.

+ Good interpersonal skills & Communication skills preferred.
