Position Overview:

We’re seeking a full-time, on-site Database Administrator The ideal candidate combines deep SQL Server expertise with seasoned DB2 LUW skills, strong integration know-how, and hands-on support for third-party tools.

Key Responsibilities:

+ SQL Server Administration (100%)

+ Performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and schema design.

+ Stored-procedure development and debugging.

+ High-availability configurations: replication, linked servers, clustering.

+ Security management, backup/recovery, monitoring, and automation.

+ 24×7 production support and troubleshooting.

+ DB2 LUW Administration

+ Good experience on DB2 v11.1/11.5

+ Installation, patching, upgrades, and fix pack management

+ Performance tuning, storage management, and disaster-recovery testing

+ Backup/recovery strategies, security administration, and capacity planning

+ Data refreshes, DDL migrations, and job orchestration via Zena/Pentaho

+ Collaboration with application teams to ensure availability and performance

+ Integration & ETL

+ Hands-on or willingness to learn integration tools and processes

+ Support for Boomi, Pentaho, Tosca, and similar middleware

+ Third-Party Software Support

+ Install, configure, and troubleshoot Boomi, Pentaho, Tosca, etc.

+ Coordinate upgrades, patches, and vendor tickets

Qualifications:

+ Proven SQL Server DBA track record, including large-scale implementations.

+ Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.

+ Excellent communication and teamwork with infrastructure and application groups.

+ Self-starter who can prioritize tasks and handle multiple domains.
