• Event Coordinator

    US Tech Solutions (Charlotte, NC)


    Duration: 4 months contract with possible extension

    Job Description:

    + Supports the events specialist responsible for planning, organizing, and executing corporate events that align with organizational goals and creates positive experiences for attendees.

    + Events include customer meetings, business conferences/events, and team-building activities.

    + The role requires organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

    Required Skills

    + Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in event planning--organization, coordinating events, reviewing contracts.

    + Any industry--wedding, special events, hospitality, banquets.

    + Supports meetings/events at client’s Charlotte, NC, headquarters. Meetings include customer visits, community outreach events, internal meetings involving more than 50 people, and onboarding for interns and other large groups.

    + Support includes reserving meeting space, coordinating with facilities team for room set-up, working with café on catering, registration process for external visitors, and housing /transportation needs for external visitors.

    + Supports events specialist with proofing event documentation (banquet event orders, production schedules, run of shows)

    + Supports events specialist with reviewing and paying invoices.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Previous experience in precision production or inspection activities.

    + Experience using SPC or other statistical tools to evaluate data.

    + Experience evaluating cosmetics of optical or mechanical components.

    Education:

    + High School Diploma required
