    Duration: 6 months contract

     

    Hours: Mon-Fri (40 hrs a week)

    Job Description:

    + Company is looking for a freelance photographer with the ability to thrive in a fast paced, high volume digital studio environment. This studio is a production environment, almost exclusively product on white, focusing on a wide range of different product categories. You will be responsible for executing high-quality digital photography for Client’s online catalog, maintaining consistently high standards for accuracy, aesthetics, and productivity. Successful candidates must have a passion for photography, a sense of humor, patience, and a sharp mind. Most of all, successful candidates are tech-savvy, shop online, and brim with great ideas.

    Experience and Attributes:

    + Strong photographic lighting and compositional skills

    + Proactive and decisive problem solving, both technically and creatively

    + Has proven experience and can excel and thrive in a studio environment with a high-volume workflow

    + Strong on-set styling skills, attention to detail

    + Independent and productivity focused

    + Excellent written and oral communication

    Qualifications:

    + 2 year or 4 year degree in photography and/or related field

    + 0-3 years of digital studio product photography experience

    + A strong online portfolio of print and web materials that demonstrate applied knowledge of digital photography, lighting, composition, color quality, and aesthetics

    + Working knowledge of Photoshop, Capture One Pro and expertise Macintosh (OSX)

    + Proven ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
