Systems Engineer, Senior Electronic Warfare
KBR is seeking a talented and experienced Systems Engineer to join our team supporting the integration and test operations of the EA-18G Electronic Warfare (EW) systems at the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) in Point Mugu, California. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge EW technologies alongside a collaborative team of engineers, developers, and government personnel.
Role and Responsibilities
+ Support the integration, verification, and validation of EA-18G EW systems, subsystems, and components.
+ Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including government and contractor personnel.
+ Participate in planning, execution, and documentation of test events and engineering activities.
+ Provide technical input and recommendations throughout the system development lifecycle.
Basic Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or applied science. In lieu of a degree, additional experience may be considered.Citizenship & Clearance: U.S. Citizenship and an active Secret Security Clearance are required.Years of Experience: At least 10 years in an engineering role, including a minimum of 3 years directly supporting EA-18G EW platforms, subsystems, or component development.Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, including system development, integration, and test.
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week.
Compensation: $118,000-$177,000. The salary range posted is based on the national average. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
