    The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:

    RTX Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Fullstack Developer to join our Business Systems Application Support team. This role involves the development, maintenance, and support of business-critical applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), is essential.

    What You Will Do:

    + Develop, maintain, and support business systems applications, ensuring they meet the needs of internal stakeholders.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, providing timely and effective solutions.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

    + Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

    + Maintain and improve application performance, scalability, and security.

    + Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.

    + Participate in Agile SAFe ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement within the Agile framework.

    + Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience with 5 years of related experience.

    + 5+ years of experience in fullstack development, with a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies.

    + Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript, C# and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). as well as Proficiency in back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET. Experience with database technologies (e.g.,Oracle, SQL, NoSQL).

    + Strong understanding of application architectures and related technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Experience with Agile methodologies, specifically SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), is essential.

    Qualifications We Prefer:

    + Experience with cloud-based platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

    + Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).

    + Understanding of cybersecurity principles as they relate to application development and support.

    + Previous experience in the aerospace or defense industry.

    + Certification in SAFe or other Agile frameworks is a plus.

    The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

     

    RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

     

    Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

     

    Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

     

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
