Job Overview
The Pharmacy Technician I - Shipping and Receiving is responsible for delivery, fulfillment and inventory activities within the designated pharmacy or shipping department. Under the direction of the Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician I - Shipping and Receiving is responsible for day-to-day comprehensive pharmacy technician services in the Materials area of the Home Infusion pharmacy. The Pharmacy Technician I - Shipping and Receiving is responsible for delivery ticket fulfillment, labeling and packaging medications and orders and inventory management.
+ **Order Coordination & Fulfillment** : Track, package, and label medications and equipment, ensuring proper receipt and transfer within the pharmacy or shipping department.
+ **Inventory Management** : Monitor and maintain appropriate stock levels
+ **Shipping & Logistics** : Coordinate the timely dispatch of medications and orders while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
+ **Customer Service Excellence** : Uphold pharmacy service standards, including maintaining patient confidentiality, fostering teamwork, and utilizing effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
+ **Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance** : Support and adhere to **pharmacy SOPs, quality assurance, performance improvement, and compliance programs** , recognizing trends and identifying when additional reporting or action is needed.
+ **Regulatory Competency** : Demonstrate compliance with all **federal, state, and agency policies** , ensuring best practices in medication handling and distribution.
Required Qualifications
+ Six months of customer service experience.
+ Familiarity with data entry/computer programs including MS Office
+ Registered Technician with Minnesota Board of Pharmacy
Preferred Qualifications
+ 1 year of pharmacy, warehouse or inventory experience
