What’s a typical day as an Avionics/Electrical Technician IV? You’ll be:

+ **Leading Operations:** Providing leadership and technical guidance

+ **Testing and Troubleshooting:** Performing operational tests and repairs on avionics/electronic systems

+ **Training Staff:** Teaching installation and testing of components per specifications

+ **Ensuring Quality:** Verifying the quality and efficiency of installations

+ **Technical Repair:** Using repair techniques such as splicing, soldering, and pinning

+ **Engineering Compliance:** Overseeing performance and compliance with engineering changes

+ **Documenting Work:** Maintaining thorough records of all work performed

+ **Inspection:** Pre-inspecting work to minimize rework and inspection time

What makes you a great fit:

+ **Education:** High School Diploma or GED required

+ **Experience:** Six years in avionics/electrical and/or two years of accredited schooling plus four years related experience

+ **Licenses:** A&P FAA Airframe and Powerplant license preferred

+ **Skills:** Strong ability to repair, troubleshoot, and lead processes
