Required Skills:
Software Engineer, Machine Learning Responsibilities:
1. Lead the development of scalable infrastructure solutions that support the deployment and optimization of AI models for smart glasses.
2. Independently lead workstreams within and outside the organization, supervising other engineers and collaborating across multiple teams to solve problems of large scope.
3. Lead the migration of AI models to scalable platforms like PyPredictor, enhancing service scalability and reducing latency.
4. Develop and implement advanced model architectures, such as the encoder-perceiver-Llama3, to improve performance and enable real-time AI experiences.
5. Drive the development of multimodal large language models and generative AI systems, ensuring cutting-edge solutions are implemented.
6. Enhance query quality by developing evaluation metrics and improving processes to ensure high-quality user experiences, including prompt tuning and novel quality evaluation methods.
7. Deep technical understanding to lead initiatives to ensure compliance with high privacy standards, contributing to successful product launches.

8. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and 1 year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
9. Requires 1 year of experience in the following:
10. 1. Working on large-scale projects that involve multi-organizational collaboration
11. 2. Refining and improving the performance of generative AI models in a product focused context
12. 3. Launching a significant AI product feature end to end
13. 4. Integrating, enhancing, and assessing generative AI models for summarization tasks, including incorporating multimodal components like images
14. 5. Programming in Python and utilizing machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
15. 6. Managing extensive multimodal datasets on distributed computing resources to support evaluation and improvement of text summarization features
16. 7. Leading projects and supervising engineering teams
17. 8. Engaging in cross-functional partnerships with a demonstrated history of delivering new products or key features and
18. 9. Creating privacy-preserving solutions while maintaining compliance with relevant industry standards.
Public Compensation:
$218,402/year to $240,240/year + bonus + equity + benefits
