Job Description

Responsible for assisting Loan Originators with inbound and outbound prospecting sales calls from current and/or new U.S. Bank customers. May assist with outbound prospecting calls for various initiatives according to business needs. Fields inbound customer calls and conducts an interview to assess interest in mortgage products, and assigns “Lead” record in Salesforce to a Loan Originator for further consultation. Meets specific metric volume goals. Offers ancillary products and makes referrals to other areas within U.S. Bank as appropriate.

This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. You will be subject to the required registration process, which includes a criminal background and credit check. Failure to meet or maintain any of the NMLS registration requirements, including maintaining a satisfactory criminal and credit record, may result in a rescission of your offer or termination of employment.

Basic Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Six months to two years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

- Strong sales aptitude

- Self-motivated with ability to achieve or exceed specific production goals

- Ability to provide exceptional customer service

- Effective verbal communication skills to include professional telephone etiquette

- Previous sales or customer service experience strongly preferred

- Experience and proficiency with technical systems and programs.

-Basic understanding of Mortgage products, including first mortgage and home equity loans.

This role is remote with a preferred location in Kentucky.
