As the Lead Information Technology (IT) Auditor, you will independently evaluate and assess the Department of Human Services’ (DHS) information technology control environment across the enterprise, to include all aspects of managing and maintaining internal controls to ensure that they comply with relevant regulatory, legal, and industry standards and that they operate effectively and efficiently.
_Additionally, this position is expected to seek out and attend training on a regular basis with the support of the agency. This training will address the latest trends and industry standards in Computer Forensics, IT Auditing and Network Security. To effectively fulfill the duties of this role, this position is required to stay up to date with emerging technologies, cybersecurity threats, and relevant industry regulations._
Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
+ Manage and maintain the Department’s information technology control environment across the enterprise in collaboration with MNIT Services.
+ Serve as Team Lead on IT audit and risk management projects.
+ Lead Agency data incident investigations.
+ Participate in agency-wide domain teams and cross agency teams and committees that plan, decide, direct, implement and create policy around all DHS program areas and governance of METS with MNsure.
Minimum Qualifications

Three (3) years of specialized experience in audit work, data security, or a related field. Experience must demonstrate the following:
+ Managing and leadingaudits,includingdevelopingalong-rangeauditplan.
+ Knowledge of IT standards, guidance and frameworks such as NIST, COBIT, GDPR and COSO.
+ Knowledge of risk assessment and internal control methodologies.
+ Understanding of Azure Information Protection (AIP), and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
+ _Broad and extensive knowledge of_ Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and Government Auditing Standards (GAS).
+ Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CIA, CFE, CCEP, or CPA.
+ Knowledge of the goals, programs, and operating procedures of DHS.
+ Familiarity with IRS Publication 1075.
+ Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
