    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    Must adhere to Pilgrim’s Pride Animal Welfare Policy.

     

    Pilgrim’s Pride Partner will treat animals in an environment free of cruelty, abuse and neglect.

     

    The individual must be able to stand, reach approximately 12-18", grasp a bird weighing 4-5 lbs by the lower legs,

     

    using both hands, then hang the bird by both legs at the same time in the shackle.

     

    The individual must be able to stand to perform this job.

     

    The individual must be willing to perform all other duties as assigned by Management.

     

    The employee must be able to stand and perform this job for 8 – 8 ½ hours per day.

     

    Temperature varies depending on outside weather conditions.
