**Position Summary:** Processes and prepares anatomical and cytology specimens for examination by the Pathologist. Assists in specimen procurement and report processing.

**Position Requirements** :

+ Registered Histology Technician HT (ASCP) or have completed an accredited histology program and have eligibility to take the registry exam.

+ Successful passing of the HT (ASCP) exam within 1 year of hire.

+ Experience with histological instrumentation

+ Practiced communication skills

+ Professional demeanor
