Payroll and Benefits Specialist
Compensation: $62-68k
Robert Half is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Specialist on behalf of a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals through various services and programs. As this organization’s Payroll and Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for managing bi-weekly payroll for 300+ employees using ADP Workforce Now and administering employee benefit programs while ensuring compliance with labor and tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Process accurate and timely payroll for multiple entities.
+ Manage benefits-related tracking, enrollments, and renewals.
+ Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax requirements, and leave policies.
+ Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on audits, reports, and employee inquiries.
Qualifications:
+ 2+ years of payroll experience (ADP Workforce Now preferred).
+ Knowledge of payroll laws, taxes, and compliance.
+ Proficiency in Excel and excellent attention to detail.
+ Experience with benefits administration, ACA regulations, and FMLA/CTPL tracking preferred.

Requirements
• At least 2 years of experience in full-cycle payroll processing.
• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and related payroll systems.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, especially with HR and Finance teams.
