    Purchasing Agent

     

    Salary: $52,000-$58,000 base

     

    Robert Half has partnered with a manufacturer seeking an Entry-Level Purchasing Agent to join the close-knit team, where longevity and tenure are celebrated. This is a global company with a small satellite office in CT giving you the ability to be hands on with a family feel and supported by a large backing.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Handle purchasing functions, from requisitions to receipts.

    + Communicate with vendors

    + Oversee shipment logistics and ensure compliance records are current.

    + Support administrative tasks

    + Assist the customer service team in resolving inquiries and processing orders.

    Preferred Skills/Experience:

    + Relevant entry-level experience (customer service and purchasing background a plus).

    + Strong organizational and communication skills.

    + Familiarity with manufacturing environments is a plus.
