• Onboarding Coordinator

    Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Onboarding Coordinator for a long-term contract role with a leading apparel company based in Commerce, CA. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing high-volume onboarding processes and supporting a fast-paced HR team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all new hires across various departments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Coordinate and manage onboarding for large volumes of new hires weekly

    + Prepare and distribute offer letters, new hire packets, and onboarding schedules

    + Facilitate virtual and in-person new hire orientations

    + Ensure completion of all pre-employment requirements including background checks, I-9 verifications, and E-Verify

    + Maintain accurate records in HRIS and onboarding platforms

    + Act as a point of contact for new hires, answering questions and providing support throughout the onboarding process

    + Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, IT, Payroll, and department managers to ensure timely and efficient onboarding

    + Monitor onboarding checklists and follow up on outstanding items

    + Ensure compliance with company policies and legal/regulatory requirements

    Requirements

    2+ years of experience in a high-volume onboarding or HR coordination role

     

    Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail

     

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/onboarding platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG, etc.)

     

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

     

    Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

     

    Experience in the apparel, retail, or manufacturing industry is a plus
