Description We are looking for a dynamic Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This role is ideal for an organized and detail-focused individual who excels in managing financial tasks, human resources, and office operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining efficiency and supporting both leadership and staff across various functions.
Responsibilities:
• Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations using accounting software.
• Prepare financial reports and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with external accountants and a fractional Chief Financial Officer to ensure accurate and timely financial management.
• Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding processes while maintaining personnel records.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Safeguard sensitive employee and company data by maintaining confidentiality and secure record-keeping practices.
• Provide administrative support to leadership and staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Identify inefficiencies in office workflows and implement solutions to improve productivity.
• Organize team-building events and employee appreciation activities to foster a positive workplace culture.
• Support marketing and business development initiatives and facilitate internal communications. Requirements
• Proven experience as an office manager or in a similar administrative leadership role.
• Strong multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration, conflict resolution, and fostering team morale.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with accounting systems such as QuickBooks and other financial management tools.
• Ability to identify challenges and implement effective solutions quickly.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead team members while promoting accountability and excellence.
• Minimum of an associate’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
