POSITION SUMMARY
Scan documentation from various departments throughout the facility into an electronic database. Maintain organized files for pending items. Coordinate secure document shredding and offsite document storage with outside supplier. Back up for other positions within accounting department or front desk receptionist as needed. Promote and facilitate continuous improvement, and provide general support to the facility for interpretation and application of internal and external programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Functions Statement(s)
+ Perform general office duties such as typing, operating office machines, and answering the phone.
+ Scan various company documents to appropriate electronic file storage.
+ Maintain paper copies for the appropriate period and dispose of in accordance with site practice.
+ May gather documents to be scanned from departments or employees.
+ Sort or classify information according to guidelines, such as content, purpose, user criteria, or chronological, alphabetical, or numerical order.
+ Assist in finding and retrieving information from files in response to requests from authorized users.
+ Identify documents to determine how and where they should be classified or filed.
+ Answer questions about records or files.
+ Modify or improve filing systems or implement new filing systems.
+ Upload all time off requests, performance reviews, disciplinary documents, etc. as needed.
+ Answer front door
+ Pull messages from voicemail and forward to appropriate persons
+ Assist with meals and other recognition projects with the engagement team
+ Assist other staff members with clerical needs
+ Type and send offer letters
+ Provide orientation to Temps and Parker new hires
+ Send weekly staffing needs email to all agencies
+ Enter background checks and drug screenings into Data Facts
+ Gather new hire forms from temp conversions and new hires
+ Keep the various tabs in the OT Marion. Elgin Excel spreadsheet in Teams updated
+ Create &/or replace badges as needed
+ Pull resumes from postings, Route for review, Schedule Interviews
+ Actively participate and support the plant’s safety program. Report any injury or near miss immediately to your Group Lead or EHS Manager. Report all unsafe conditions immediately to a Group Lead, Value Stream Manager or EHS Manager.
+ Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area. Keep all walkways and aisle free of any debris or clutter. Maintain 5S standards by returning tools to shadow boards. Sweep floor and finishing area as needed.
+ Daily attendance is a requirement of the job, as is arriving on time. Overtime is expected when customer demand dictates the need.
+ Any other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
+ High school diploma or GED
+ 2-3 years of manufacturing experience
+ Ability to work effectively with others
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise good judgment, and exhibit a high-level of integrity
+ High-level of visual awareness
+ Extensive computer knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office.
