Description

A reputable and well-established law firm is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney with a strong interest or background in healthcare litigation to join their team. This is a fully remote opportunity offering long-term growth, mentorship, and exposure to sophisticated work in the managed healthcare space.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Handle a range of complex litigation matters with a focus on healthcare and breach of contract disputes

+ Draft motions, discovery, pleadings, and legal memoranda

+ Conduct legal research, investigations, and case strategy development

+ Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and clients in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

+ J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in California

+ 1+ years of litigation experience; healthcare litigation experience or a strong interest in managed healthcare law preferred

+ Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills

+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

+ Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Requirements

• Must be a licensed attorney with active bar admission.

• At least 1 year of experience in civil litigation.

• Strong skills in drafting motions and conducting briefing.

• Proficient in discovery processes, including document review and analysis.

• Experience in taking and defending depositions.

• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively.

• Familiarity with arbitration procedures is a plus.

• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
