    Description

    Robert Half is partnering with a large organization in SE Portland to identify a stellar Accountant for a long-term contract opportunity on a growing team! This would be a great role for someone with extensive AP, AR and/or reconciliation experience. As an accountant on this team, you will work in a fast-paced production environment preparing and sending financial reports, processing payments, researching large data sets, and reconciling numerous accounts. Willingness and ability to handle tight deadlines and detailed tasks in a fast-paced environment is required, as is the ability to pick-up complicated tasks quickly and accurately.

    DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

    - High volume AR & AP

     

    - Preparing daily financial reports

     

    - Reconciliation of incoming funding

     

    - Handling multiple payment exceptions

     

    - Tracking held payments

    Requirements

    - Experience with high volume AR, Billing and/or AP

     

    - Background in financial services or banking strongly preferred

     

    - Strong technical aptitude and the ability to navigate around systems, programs, and databases quickly.

     

    - Intermediate MS Excel skills required, including pivot tables

     

    - Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload in order to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

     

    - Works well in a dynamic team environment
