Description

We are looking for an Attorney with a background in estate planning and tax law to join our dynamic legal team in Chicago, Illinois. This role offers the opportunity to handle complex cases involving wills, trusts, and estate tax matters while contributing to the growth of the firm's expertise in these areas.

Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on estate planning strategies, including drafting wills, trusts, and other legal documents.

• Handle estate tax matters, including preparation and filing of estate tax returns.

• Conduct legal research and provide guidance on complex estate tax laws and regulations.

• Represent clients in estate-related legal proceedings and negotiations.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative legal solutions for clients.

• Stay updated on changes in estate planning and tax laws to ensure compliance.

• Provide personalized advice to clients to address their unique estate planning needs.

• Manage multiple cases effectively, ensuring deadlines and legal requirements are met.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster trust and long-term partnerships

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois.

• Proven experience in estate planning and estate tax matters.

• Proficiency in drafting wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.

• Strong knowledge of estate tax laws and regulations.

• Excellent analytical and legal research skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
