Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Generalist to join our team in Dartmouth, Massachusetts. This long-term contract position is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a wide range of HR functions, with a focus on leave administration, compliance, and employee support. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in human resources processes, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to improving policies and practices.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the complete leave administration process, including FMLA, short-term and long-term disability, parental leave, and other applicable programs.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, such as ADA and state leave policies, while maintaining accurate documentation and tracking of leave activity.
• Collaborate with employees, managers, payroll, and benefits teams to facilitate seamless communication and proper handling of leave processes.
• Provide guidance to employees and managers on leave eligibility, policies, and return-to-work procedures.
• Audit and maintain accurate leave codes and records to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Deliver training sessions and create informational materials to educate employees and leaders about leave programs.
• Identify opportunities to improve internal leave policies based on regulatory updates, employee feedback, and industry standards.
• Resolve discrepancies in leave records and partner with legal and compliance teams to address complex cases.
• Generate reports and analyze data related to leave management to support decision-making and policy refinement.
• Support broader HR functions, including onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration
Requirements • Proven experience in human resources, with a focus on leave administration and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and state-specific leave policies.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and data management tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees, managers, and external partners.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in managing records.
• Experience in employee relations, onboarding, and benefits administration.
• Ability to deliver training and develop educational materials for employees and managers.
