Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Paramount, California. In this role, you will oversee critical financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and providing valuable insights into the company's financial performance. This position offers an opportunity to lead and optimize processes that impact the organization's success.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with established accounting and auditing policies, effectively communicating procedures across the organization.

• Generate detailed financial reports, including analyses for daily flex, weekly planning, and monthly and quarterly reviews.

• Oversee the complete Accounts Payable cycle, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Support the preparation and review of financial statements and statistical reports, including journal entries.

• Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts such as inventory, payables, receivables, cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and accrued liabilities.

• Collaborate with department leads to establish standard costs and conduct weekly reconciliations of variances.

• Lead the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Conduct monthly and quarterly calculations and analyses for excess and obsolete inventory and other financial metrics.

• Maintain and test internal controls, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and working with process owners to address gaps.

• Assist in budget preparation, review proposals, and provide ongoing monitoring and support to ensure adherence to approved budgets. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.

• Proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger management.

• Expertise in preparing and auditing financial statements.

• Strong skills in account reconciliation and journal entry preparation.

• Knowledge of cost accounting principles and experience with annual inventory processes.

• Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and internal controls.

• Ability to analyze financial data and generate comprehensive reports.

• Exceptional organizational and communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
