• Accounting Manager

    Robert Half Finance & Accounting (Spring, TX)


    Description

    Our growing client in the Spring/North Houston area is seeking to add an Accounting Manager to their dynamic team.

     

    This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounting cycle, including general ledger, month-end close, financial reporting, AP/AR, and payroll functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.

     

    + Manage and oversee all daily accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition

    + Lead the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting

    + Prepare internal and external financial statements in accordance with GAAP

    + Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

    + Support budgeting and forecasting activities

    + Manage cash flow and banking relationships

    + Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations

    + Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants during audits and tax filings

    + Supervise and mentor a team of staff and senior accountants

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

    + 3-7 years’ of experience

    + NetSuite

    + Full cycle accounting, job costing experience

    + Ability to lead and mentor
