Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our client's team in Rogers, Arkansas. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow their accounting expertise in a dynamic environment, leveraging their analytical skills and adaptability to tackle diverse financial tasks. Responsibilities:

• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records of financial activities.

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

• Support month-end close procedures by analyzing financial data and preparing reports.

• Utilize advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables, to analyze and present data effectively.

• Conduct thorough reconciliations of accounts to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.

• Apply analytical skills to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.

• Collaborate with team members to support ongoing projects and financial reporting needs.

• Demonstrate flexibility and learning agility to adapt to new challenges and systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.

• 2-3 years of accounting experience, or relevant internships for recent graduates.

• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Experience with reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
