Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our growing client's team. This is a contract-to-permanent position within a CPA firm specializing in business management services. The ideal candidate will excel in preparing high-volume individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns with a focus on high-volume and high-net-worth clients.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations for all filings.

• Utilize CCH ProSystem fx and Axcess software to streamline tax preparation processes.

• Review and analyze financial data to identify tax-saving opportunities.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address complex tax issues and provide solutions.

• Maintain detailed records and documentation to support tax filings.

• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate reporting.

• Assist with sales and use tax filings as needed.

• Provide guidance to entry-level staff members on tax preparation procedures.

Requirements • Proven experience in preparing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.

• Proficiency in using CCH ProSystem fx and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong knowledge of current federal, state, and local tax regulations.

• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.

• Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and businesses.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
