About the Role:

Join one of North America’s largest energy infrastructure companies. We’re hiring a Pipeline Technician / Gas Operations Specialist at our Southern Natural Gas Hall Gate Compressor Station.

You'll be responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing our natural gas pipeline systems, compressor stations, and related equipment. This role is perfect for mechanically inclined professionals with experience in pipeline, energy, or utility work—or transitioning veterans with relevant skills.

What You'll Do:

+ Operate and maintain gas pipelines, valves, compressors, and pumps

+ Diagnose and repair engines, turbines, motors, and instruments

+ Handle basic electrical maintenance and corrosion control

+ Perform field inspections and respond to emergency callouts

+ Represent Kinder Morgan with landowners and local officials

+ Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations

+ Support third-party contractors and assist with training

Position Requirements

What You Bring:

+ Experience as a pipeline technician, field operator, gas mechanic, or similar

+ Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)

+ Strong mechanical aptitude

+ Able to work outdoors in all weather and lift up to 50 lbs

+ Willing to be on-call and live within commuting distance of Milledgeville, GA

+ Military MOS/CMF backgrounds welcome (e.g., 91B, 12N, 12B, or 1169)
