Advertising/Posting Title Retail Associate
Posting Summary
Assist in the efficient operation of the Catamount Store in downtown Burlington. Perform opening and closing responsibilities. Promote the store through various social media and create visually appealing displays. Restock merchandise. Operate a POS cash register and providing excellent customer service.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
High school diploma and familiarity with retail sales and operations required. Knowledge of computer operations, data entry and social media required.
Demonstrated commitment to diversity, social justice and training, fostering a collaborative multi-cultural environment. Ability to work weekends, evenings, and University holidays with occasional overtime required. Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 25 lbs on regular basis and up to 75 lbs on an occasional basis required. Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain
personal background check required.
Desirable Qualifications
French language skills desirable.
Anticipated Pay Range $18.50/hour to $20.15/hour
Other Information
Special Conditions Weekend work required, Bargaining Unit Position - United Electrical Workers, A probationary period may be required, This position is ineligible for telework due to the essential functions, Background Check required for this position
FLSA Non-Exempt
