Responsibilities

- Smallworld application customization using GE Smallworld, Magik

- Responsible for data conversion using FME.

- Upgrade and integrate smallworld interfaces

- Deliver new and complex high quality solutions to clients in response to varying business requirements

- Testing and defect fixing

- Responsible for effective communication between the project team and the customer

- Use of various computer technologies, languages and environments including Windows, Linux, Smallworld Magik, Java, Oracle, Smallworld Core, Design Manager, Smallworld Case Tool, Electric Office, GDO/GTO, XML, FME as necessary.

Mandatory Skills:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics / Electrical / Computer Science or Information Technology)

- Minimum 10 years of experience in GE Smallworld product suites, Smallworld App Deveopment, VMDS

- Strong knowledge of Magik language

- Experience to create new modules

- Develop Custom GIS Applications

- Experience with Querying, Reporting, and Extraction of Spatial Data

- Excellent communication

- Strong Energy and Utility domain knowledge
