+ **Pay:** $ 44.01/hr
+ **Shift/Hours:** Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
We are looking for a Financial and Business Analyst to support the Business Team and help us shape the future of the franchise. As a Business Analyst for the Business Team, you will be responsible for processing and analyzing the financial performance of the franchise across Console, Mobile, PC, and new platforms. By ensuring accurate revenue reporting, you will contribute to the success of our internal and external partners, and drive impact through informed decision-making across the franchise.
Responsibilities:
• Reconcile revenue statements from the Console, Mobile and PC businesses, spanning financials and user engagement
• Contribute to monthly close processes by taking ownership of tasks such as creating journal entries, accruals, and variance reporting, adhering strictly to GAAP accounting principles
• Create reports and manage processes for royalty statements and payments to partners
• Aid Business Managers with ad hoc sales performance report creation and data validation
• Support Business Analytics Specialist with rhythm of business reporting and reconciliation
• Audit financial processes and recommend improvements to the team
• Document existing and new business operations processes
• Acquire data, develop, and maintain Excel based databases/data collection systems.
• Monitor performance and quality control to identify efficiencies and improvements.
• Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
• Effectively communicate insights and plans within the Business Team
• Monitor and maintain accurate financial records and status of partners to facilitate effective financial management, invoicing, and reporting
Requirements:
• 2-4 years of experience in business operations and financial analysis (in the gaming or entertainment industry is a plus)
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience with Excel for in-depth revenue tracking as well as financial analysis and reporting – this role will help build and manage large excel revenue databases.
• Minimum 2-4 years' experience with royalty tracking and reporting
• Minimum 2-4 years' experience with the invoice and Purchase Order (PO) process from beginning to end.
• Bachelor's degree in business management, finance, accounting or relevant field
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong financial background and understanding of GAAP accounting principles
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and competency in MS Word and Outlook
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Attention to detail and accuracy along with excellent verbal, visual and written communication skills
• Track record of strong collaboration across teams
• Passion for gaming and entertainment preferred
**Pay Details:** $44.01 per hour
