    Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently looking to hire a skilled Ultra Sound Technician role for their client in Austin ,TX location.

     

    Job Title: Per Diem Ultrasound Technician – CIMT (Carotid Intima-Media Thickness)

     

    Pay Rate: $38/hour -42/HR

     

    Schedule: 3 days per week, 3–5 hours per day (up to 3 months)

    Job Description:

    We are currently looking for a skilled and reliable Ultrasound Technician with experience in CIMT (Carotid Intima-Media Thickness) imaging to join our team on a per diem basis. In this role, you will play a key part in the early detection of cardiovascular risks by conducting non-invasive scans of the carotid arteries.

    Responsibilities:

    + Operate CIMT ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality, diagnostic images of the carotid arteries

    + Measure artery wall thickness and accurately document findings

    + Ensure patient comfort, safety, and proper positioning during scans

    + Collaborate with the clinical team to support cardiovascular risk prevention and education

    + Maintain equipment and follow all safety and sanitation protocols

    Qualifications:

    + Certified/registered Ultrasound Technician (ARDMS or equivalent preferred)

    + **Previous experience with CIMT or vascular ultrasound required**

    + Strong knowledge of carotid anatomy and vascular imaging techniques

    + Excellent attention to detail and patient care skills

    + Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with the healthcare team

    **Pay Details:** $38.00 to $42.00 per hour
