Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE):
+ Promote a culture of safety and interdependence across all operations.
+ Investigate incidents and implement corrective safety measures.
Quality & Regulatory Compliance:
+ Ensure all SOPs align with cGMPs, Global Quality Standards, and local procedures.
+ Lead investigations (TrackWise), implement CAPAs, and ensure data integrity.
Operational Excellence:
+ Develop and execute Operational Excellence roadmaps and strategies.
+ Lead cross-functional process improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
+ Implement KPIs, monitor performance, and manage change initiatives.
+ Lead a team of specialists and drive stakeholder engagement.
Lean Manufacturing:
+ Identify and eliminate waste through Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, Standard Work, etc.).
+ Lead time studies, process mapping, and visual management initiatives.
+ Facilitate Lean training and mentor teams on continuous improvement.
Operations & Capacity Modeling:
+ Lead initiatives focused on process flow, resource utilization, and capacity planning (people, space, equipment).
+ Develop and manage warehouse productivity KPIs.
+ Partner with cross-functional teams (Customer Service, LVA, Tech@Lilly) to ensure operational alignment with customer demand and SAP enhancements.
Financial & Productivity:
+ Develop business cases for operational initiatives.
+ Validate post-project productivity and cost savings.
People Development:
+ Support performance management, talent pipeline development, and intern/SCALE programs.
Basic Qualifications
+ **Bachelor’s degree** in Engineering, Operations, or a technical field (or 10+ years of related experience).
+ **5+ years of people leadership experience** , preferably in operations or pharma distribution.
Additional Skills/ Preferences
+ Strong knowledge of **cGMPs** , problem-solving, communication, and influencing skills.
+ Proficiency in **Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI)** and **SAP** .
+ Strong background in **Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA** , and **Continuous Improvement** .
+ Business case creation and financial analysis capability.
Additional Information
+ Off-hours decision-making support required (company-issued cell phone provided).
+ Occasional travel to **Enfield, CT (5–15%)** .

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$122,250 - $179,300
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
