The Assistant Registrar for Data Maintenance will contribute to the Office of the University Registrar by maintaining data and related processes to ensure the security and integrity of academic records. The Assistant Registrar is responsible for managing current processes including the VA certification process and continually researching ways to improve efficiency. The Assistant Registrar contributes to the services and mission of the Office of the University Registrar and the University as a whole
You will:
+ Maintain the records and systems related to student enrollment with discretion and accuracy in accordance with internal policies and external regulation
+ Implement and enforce academic policies
+ Liaison with Information Technology, Admissions, and other departments to enhance customer service
+ Maintain student status changes
+ Serve as the primary contact for National Student Clearinghouse and NCAA reporting
+ Research process improvements and implement workflow efficiencies
+ Develop training on new processes, tools, etc.
+ Develop reports for university stakeholders and others as needed
+ Provide backup support for routine office tasks such as registration issues and addressing customer inquiries
+ Execute Banner jobs that support registration and records management
+ Maintain information on webpage, Self Service Banner, and student portal
+ Coordinate student communications
+ Promote teamwork, collaboration, and resource sharing across the Office of the University Registrar, and other Enrollment Services areas
+ Manage the VA certification process by ensuring student progress is monitored, collaborating with other offices to verify benefit eligibility, and informing colleagues about pertinent changes to related military education policies
You need:
+ Bachelor-s degree and two to four years of experience in a Registrar-s Office preferred
+ Experience with Banner preferred
+ Experience working with faculty members and administrative and academic departments
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills are required
+ A commitment to enhancing the internal and external customer experience is required
+ Professional presentation and demeanor is required
+ Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams is necessary
+ Excellent organizational skills and great attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and advance multiple tasks simultaneously
+ Ability to work independently and take individual initiative as well as the ability to work as a collaborative team member
+ Ability to work early morning, evening, and/or weekend hours as needed in support of student events and initiatives
